Jose Paulino – Captain
Jose has been with the base of the franchise since 2011 and will be entering his 12th season with the team. Jose has been a consistent bat in the lineup, always coming up big in big time situations, all while manning one of the most important positions on the field, shortstop. Jose has always done what it takes to win, whether attending every off-season practice, team bonding gatherings, never missing a game or just helping recruit top talent.

Izzy Tatis, Expos Captain

Izzy Tatis – Captain
Izzy has been with the franchise for 3 years and exemplifies what it means to just show up and play baseball. He never has a negative mindset and always competes hard on the field. Izzy will lead a young, but strong squad in the 2022 season looking for redemption after falling just one game shy of reaching the 2021 Yawkey League Championship series.

Richard Soohoo – Captain
Richard has been with the base of the franchise for the last 12 seasons. Richard is passionate and dedicated and a member of the team that everyone gravitates to. He’s the heart and soul of this team. Richard will lead the 2022 Merrimack Valley Expos into the season looking for a “3-peat.”
